                Preacher's Blog
         August was another busy month. Our Birthday Celebration was a great success with 65 attending, a good service, wonderful meal and fellowship, 1 new member, 5 baptized in the lake. Yep, I could stand that on a regular basis.
     Awanas has been started with Cubbies, Sparks, and T&Ts. We have our leaders/teachers. Each needs a "helper/listener". Please volunteer to serve. As it grows, more opportunities will open. This is every Wednesday evening at 7pm
     Summer's over, school's in, and some are still playing hookey. Time to get back in your seat. Our numbers are coming back up and there is still room for more.
     A ramp is being built onto the building by Randy&Co. Thanks Randy. Good job. This will make us more accessable for handicap needs.
     Last Saturday in September is our Annual Fish Fry. This is a Fellowship/Outreach event. Invite your friends and family, neighbors and co-workers. Let's find the lost and unchurched and bring them in.
  Kathi has accepted the ministry position of Worship and Children's Director. She will lead services on Sunday and assist with children's church, and be with us Wednesday evenings with the kids.
     Youth Director is our next major concern. They are as scarce as hen's teeth! Pray God send His servant to build a Youth Ministry.
